Mein ganzes Leben, aber ich habe angefangen, Geige zu spielen, als ich 8 Jahre alt war. / All my life, but started playing violin when I was 8 years old.

2. Seit wann spielen sie im Orchester von James Last? How long have you been playing with the James Last Orchestra?
Seit 1995 / Since 1995

3. Wo haben sie vorher gespielt, bzw. wo spielen sie noch? Where have you played before and where else do you play?
Nz Symphony Orchester “Phantom” , “Mozart” musicals and my own band “4 to 1” and my own bands (among others)

4. Welches ist ihr liebstes James Last – Stück? Which is your favourite James Last piece of music?
“Games that Lovers Play”

5. Was war ihr größter musikalischer Erfolg? What is your biggest musical success?
In der Albert Hall mit Hansi aufzutreten / playing in the Albert Hall with Hansi

6. Welche Instrumente spielen sie? Which instrument do you play?
Geige, Geige, Geige / Violin, Violin, Violin :-)

7. Welches war ihr erstes Instrument? What was your first instrument?
Blockflöte und ein kaputtes Xylophon / Recorder and a broken Xylophone

8. In welchem Land treten sie am liebsten auf? Which is your favourite country to play in?
In England, es ist einzigartig, besonders die Fans / England, it’s unique- especially the fans

9. Welche Musik hören sie privat? What kind of music do you listen to at home?
Salsa / Latino / Classical / Jazz

10. Haben sie musikalische Vorbilder? Do you have a musical idol?
George Michael, Astor Piazolla, La India, Itzhak Perlman, and Hansi!

11. Womit verbringen sie ihre Freizeit? What do you do in your free time?
Segeln, Reisen, neue Restaurants entdecken / Sailing, travelling, discovering new restaurants

12. Welches ist ihr Lieblingsbuch? Which is your favourite book?

13. Wo sind sie aufgewachsen? Wo leben sie jetzt? Where do you grow up and where do you live now?
Ich bin in Neuseeland aufgewachsen und lebe jetzt in Hamburg / I grew up in New Zealand and currently living in Hamburg

2 Kinder, Mädchen 3 1/2, Junge 1 / 2 children – girl 3 1/2, boy 1 ½

15. Sind ihre Kinder auch musikalisch engagiert? Are your children also involved in music?
Sie mögen es, zu jeder Art von Musik zu tanzen und Schlagzeug spielen auf Töpfen mit Löffeln / They enjoy dancing to almost any music, and playing drums with spoons and cooking pots

16. Was sind ihre positiven Eigenschaften? What are your positive qualities?
Optimistisch, jemand der versucht, das Leben immer zu genießen / Optimistic, someone who seeks to enjoy life at all times

17. Was sind ihre Schwächen? What are your weaknesses?
Ungeduldig, manchmal zu impulsiv / Impatient, too impulsive sometimes.

18. Wie ist ihr persönliches Verhältnis zu James Last? How is your relationship to James Last?
Hansi gibt Dir immer das Gefühl, dass Du sowohl als Mensch als auch als Musiker von grundsätzlicher Wichtigkeit für ihn bist. / Hansi always makes you feel that the person as well as the musician is essentially important to him

19. Wie bewerten sie die Arbeit/Akzeptanz von James Last als deutscher Musiker und Komponisten? How do you rate the work and the popularity of James last as a German musician and composer?
Seine Arbeit steht über den Dingen und ist nicht zu bewerten. Und das seit 40 Jahren / His work is beyond rating it stands alone, and has been fort he past 40 years

20. Haben sie schon einmal mit James Last Golf gespielt? Have you ever played golf with James Last?
Leider nicht, aber ich hoffe er wird es mir eines Tages beibringen. / Unfortunately not, but I hope Hansi will teach me one day.
